Building Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) in Leadership Program

The Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (MCI) has awarded the Regional Diversity Roundtable (RDR) a 15 month Partnership Grant under the Building Inclusive Leaders stream for its Building DEI in Leadership project.

This project will develop and deliver a 4 module DEI training program over 10 months to build DEI capacity of organizational leaders in the human services sector (non-profit, social services, public sectors). The program will be offered in 5 regions: Durham, Halton, Hamilton, Waterloo, and Peel with the help of community DEI hubs.

Other key components of the program include: access to an online leadership community hub where leaders can engage, support, and exchange ideas with one another on an ongoing basis throughout the training program and an invitation to an all-expenses paid leadership symposium for participants in all 5 regions to reflect on their learnings and to network at the end of the program.

Program enrollment and materials are free of cost.

We are seeking organizational leaders to enroll in this training program. Leaders will develop a skill set and foundation not only to become change agents, but also to champion the values for others in their organizations as well.
