Ontario is seeking input from individuals, organizations and businesses in Toronto to help shape policies and programs that will be part of Ontario's 2017 Budget.
Yvan Baker, Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, hosted a pre-budget consultation at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Toronto as part of a province-wide engagement process for the 2017 Budget. This is the second consultation held in the city.
For the third year in a row, people across Ontario were also able to submit ideas through Budget Talks, an online consultation tool. The submission phase is now closed with over 400 project ideas submitted. The government will provide $3 million to fund up to eight proposals as part of the 2017 Budget.
