The Canadian Women’s Foundation is now accepting proposals for
2017-2018 Annual Violence Prevention Grants.
Organizations can apply for one of the following types of grants:
A. Rebuilding Lives: Support women’s organizations and programs in Canada to help women and children rebuild their lives after the crisis of experiencing violence
B. Loan Funds: Provide interest-free loan funds to women who have experienced domestic violence to aid them in becoming financially independent
We will select approximately 30 grants up to a maximum of $20,000 each. If your organization and work fits the selection criteria, you may apply for additional funding of up to $3,000 to assist with access costs. Please note that if you have already received funding for the same project for THREE years, you may NOT reapply for the same project. If in doubt, please contact us to verify.
The submission deadline is Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:59pm PST. Proposals submitted after this date will not be considered.
The online application portal is open as of December 9th, 2016.
