OCASI - Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants in partnership with Access Alliance Meulticultural and Community Services, Catholic Crosscultural Services, The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto and ther 519 cordially invite service providers in the settlement, LGBTQIA* and/or housing and shelter sectors and people with lived experience as LGBTQIA* immigrants and refugees living in the Greater Toronto Area to be a part of our Positive Spaces Initiative Community Roundtable Discussion.
The objective of the round table is to provide the sectors with an opportunity to discuss the strengths and gaps in finding appropriate shelter and housing for LGBTQIA+ immigrants and refugees (including newcomers) living in the Greater Toronto Area. This is an opportunity for service providers to develop strategies and opportunities for collaboration in order to effectively support LGBTQIA+ immigrants and refugees.
We ask that no more than two participants register from each agency.
We anticipate this to be the first of many more round-table discussions. If you are unable to attend please know we will be having future round-tables
Some registration spots are reserved for people with lived experience as LGBTQIA+ immigrants/refugees.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
