OCASI - Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants in partnership with Le Mouvement Ontarien des Femmes Immigrantes Francophones (MOFIF), Rexdale Women's Centre, Immigrant Women Services Ottawa, Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women, and Women's Health in Women's Hands Community Health Centre invites you to the launch of our new Toolkit for Settlement Workers to share best practiceson community-based education to end gender-based violence: “A Future Without Gender-Based Violence: Building Newcomers' Resilience through Community Education”

This free toolkit launch will feature experts from Mixed Company Theatre who will be providing forum theatre training in addressing gender-based violence. In addition, the program will include members of the GBV advisory committee who will share best practices outlined in the toolkit and help front-line practitioners better develop community-based education campaigns and events working with racialized women with intersectional identities who are experiencing or have experienced gender-based violence.

We will unfortunately not be able to cover transportation out of the GTA.
