Province Supporting Campus-Wide Energy Retrofit at Carleton University
Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development
Ontario is investing in modern and energy-efficient facilities for students at Carleton University, which will offer new opportunities for experiential learning, and create space for applied research and development.
Yasir Naqvi, MPP for Ottawa Centre, joined local MP Catherine McKenna at Carleton this week (Nov 7) to make the announcement.
The investment from the province and the federal government will help Carleton University renew existing facilities, and support new infrastructure to house the Institute for Advanced Research and Innovation in Smart Environments. This new institute will enable applied research on clean, health, and information and communication technologies.
