Ontario is building healthier and safer communities by taking further steps to end hallway health care and build an integrated, connected health care system.

To rapidly expand screening and ease pressures on hospital emergency departments, a number of dedicated assessment centres have been established across Toronto. Toronto Public Health (TPH) is not an assessment centre and testing is not provided at TPH offices.
The Ontario government has developed a screening tool and other information and resources that can be used by community organizations to support communities in staying safe and healthy.
