Manager of Settlement, Integration and Family Services

The Manager is responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day operations of all settlement programs and services. The Manager participates in program development, tracks deliverables and outcomes, report writing, and data analysis. Reporting to the Executive Director this position also engages in various community collaborations and ensures services are responsive to emerging client needs.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist

Reporting to the Director Human Resources & Labour Relations, the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Specialist is accountable for leading the EDI initiative at The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group, The Royal Foundation, The Institute for Mental Health Research (IMHR) and partner stakeholders. The EDI Specialist is accountable for ensuring all recruitment, promotion, performance review and retention practices advance EDI priorities and support The Royal strategic plan of advocating and collaborating for systemic equity. In collaboration with the Family/Client EDI committee ensures programs, policies, structures, practices and initiatives are aligned across the organization to ensure all client care and employee programs are equitable, inclusive and culturally safe and in compliance with The Royal’s EDI principles.

Youth Facilitator

The Youth Facilitator's role is to create a safe space that offers a sense of belonging and positive integration for newcomer youth between 13 and 24. In addition, the Youth Facilitator provides opportunities for one-on-one support and the creation of community networks to share experiences to increase immigrant youth's awareness of and access to Canadian cultural knowledge.
