Employment Consultant - Supply Chain Connections (Mississauga)

ACCES Employment is a leader in connecting qualified jobseekers from diverse backgrounds with employers across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario and Canada. ACCES helps more than 40,000 job seekers each year at seven locations in the GTA. As a charitable not-for-profit organization, ACCES provides job search services that connect newcomers, jobseekers, youth, women and refugees to jobs that reflect their skills and experience. We provide over 30 customized job search programs that meet the unique needs of our jobseekers. Communication & Engagement Officer

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Communications and Engagement Officer (C&E Officer) is responsible for planning, developing, and executing a variety of communications and marketing initiatives in support of the Red Shawl 2022 programs and broader objectives. The C&E Officer will play a key role in the development and implementation of the design of marketing materials, overall branding strategy, social media analytics and reports from conception to execution.

Manager - Employment & Newcomer Services

The Manager, Employment & Newcomer Services will oversee the implementation of the Skilled Newcomer Incentive Bond Pilot. This pilot will test an innovative approach to address specific barriers faced by skilled newcomers in order to improve their labour market integration. Through this project, employers will be provided with a hiring bond to hire, train, and provide work experience for skilled newcomers in their field of study and professional experience. The Manager will also take on additional existing projects to be assigned once hired.

The Employer Liaison will focus on assisting individuals who require a job placement to match their skills and interests with employment opportunities and employer needs, including training incentives and supports. The Employer Liaison may also provide job retention assistance for those clients who need additional coaching and mentoring, in order to maintain employment or to make the next step on their career path.

Administrative Assistant- Summer Student

The Administrative Assistant will assist in all aspects of marketing and outreach activities for the Career Pathways for Youth Program. This will include, assisting with the existing employers, marketing, and community outreach to new employers, and the creation of support materials for marketing and outreach. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will provide assistance and support to the Career Pathways for Youth team.

Community Canvasser, HuLRT Community Canvassing Project

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Connector to engage with the public to have their voices heard. Designed for proactive public engagement, the Canvass gives residents and businesses directly impacted by construction the opportunity to raise any questions and concerns they may have about the project. Not only will the program aim to benefit the most impacted areas of the LRT, but it will find ways to proactively mitigate potential challenges as we move forward with construction.
