Settlement Counsellor – Mental Health

Career Specialist - 2

As part of Employment Services (ES), the Career Specialist will assist individuals with their employment goals and job search who are deemed appropriate for assisted services. Under the job search component of Assisted Services, individuals would access individual assistance in career clarification, goal setting, skills and interest assessment, interview and employment preparation. The Career Specialist may also provide Job Retention assistance, for those clients who need additional coaching and mentoring in order to maintain employment or to make the next step on their career path. The incumbent of this position may be required to provide part or all aspects of the Employment Services model.

Payroll & Benefits Business Partner

Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, the Payroll & Benefits Business Partner manages and handles the Payroll & Benefits function in accordance with company and legislative requirements ensuring processing occurs in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Collaborate with members of the HR team with other relevant duties as needed.

Program Impact Analyst

The Program Impact Analyst will work closely with the Executive and Management teams and report to the CEO. The key role involves helping PCHS make well-informed decisions regarding its programs and initiatives and playing a part in the attainment of PCHS’s values and the optimal utilization of resources. The position is responsible for evaluating and measuring the organization's effectiveness of programs and initiatives. The position will collect and analyze data to assess the impact of PCHS’ programs, provide actionable insights, and make recommendations for improvement.

Case Manager

Brampton Multicultural Community Centre (BMC) is a charity established in 1987 that provides settlement and social services to newcomers, immigrants and the larger community in the Peel Region. Our mandate and core business is to enable less advantaged individuals, families and groups in the community to reach their full potential, enhance their life skills, and create a better future. BMC has a variety of specialized programs that cater to specific demographics and focus on providing different services such as (Settlement, Mental Health, Youth Development, Employment, and Seniors Support) making BMC a one-stop-shop for needed services. Case Manager will be working as a key member of our youth team and will provide a safe and supportive environment for young adults to engage in activities that reduce the impact of guns, and gang related offensive violence and build social competence and emotional well-being of these young adults.

Intake Specialist

The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for individuals and family members walking into the office and or calling in to seek information and services related to mental health and addiction issues. Staff will provide appropriate information about PCHS Programs to connect the clients with available services. Also, they will provide information about resources and appropriate referrals to external mental health and addictions services, as appropriate. Staff is required to offer accurate, user-friendly information, conduct intake assessments to determine applicants’ eligibility for PCHS Programs, and provide short-term support to individuals/families experiencing mental health and addiction issues.
