CCS is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status. CCS is seeking a Settlement Worker in school program to provide settlement services while located in designated schools in Scarborough.

Get Moving! After-School Support Facilitator

The After-School Support Facilitator provides planning and program support for the Get Moving! Program for children ages 6 to 12 years old with a focus on healthy active living. This program aims to improve health issues of newcomer children and youth by focusing on physical activity, health eating and wellness education. In addition, homework assistance, excursions and arts-based activities are planned for its participants. As we evolve and support our communities during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently offering programs online with a blended approach to in-person program delivery

Get Moving! After-School Program Lead Facilitator ( 3 positions)

The Get Moving! After School Lead Facilitator will work with the After- School Program Coordinator and other staff, student placements and volunteers to plan, carry out and evaluate the Get Moving! After-School Program. This program aims to improve health issues of newcomer children and youth by focusing on physical activity, and holistic health and wellness education. In addition, homework assistance, excursions and arts-based activities are planned for its participants. As we evolve and support our communities during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently offering programs online with a blended approach to in-person program delivery.

Settlement Counsellor

University Settlement is a multi-service agency that was founded in 1910 and has the distinction of being the first community-based social service centre in the City of Toronto. University Settlement’s three offices are part of culturally rich and vibrant neighborhoods in downtown Toronto and North York. With a full-time and part-time staff of approximately 150, University Settlement has developed programs to address the needs of more than 10,000 users annually through diverse areas such as settlement services, English language classes, senior services, youth programming, music and arts education, and daycare. In addition, our main site hosts a full recreation centre with pool, gym and fitness facility.
