LINC Instructor (Toronto Centre)

TCCSA is seeking LINC Instructors who are passionate about teaching and can make learning interesting and fun for their students. The LINC Instructors are responsible for the provision of instruction in English as a Second Language and life skills required by newcomers to Canada, following a curriculum which is adapted to the needs of newcomers.

Employment Access Coach - Newcomer Women

Summary

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or status.

We are searching for a full-time Employment Access Coach - Newcomer Women to provide support to vulnerable newcomer women through facilitation of soft skills and workplace communications training, individualized employment and career coaching and hands-on work placements to transition into the Canadian Labour Market.

Settlement Counsellor

Responsible for provision of settlement and orientation services for eligible newcomers; delivering group orientation sessions on settlement topics, individual and family settlement counselling including needs assessment, solution focused counselling, orientation, referrals to community and government programs, interpretation, case management and follow-ups.

Project READY offers an alternative career pathway for internationally trained professionals with relevant backgrounds to integrate into the field of Recruitment and Job Development. This position provides job development to clients of North office, including EO and Bridging Programs.

International Skills Applied for Geriatrics (ISAGE) is a program for Internationally Educated Professionals in Healthcare, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources and other related licensed occupations delivered in partnership with George Brown College to gain relevant skills and explore alternative careers in the field of Gerontology and Social Services. It offers newcomers an opportunity to gain knowledge of the Canadian workplace, provides access to mentorships and the possibility of internships and employment in the field.
