Summary:
Please join the Hamilton Disability Employment Network and be a part of this disability inclusion evolution!
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). This month is a great time to reflect on the importance of empowering people with disabilities, learn about disability employment issues, encourage increased conversation on disability-inclusive employment, and celebrate the contributions of all the people with disabilities in the workplaces and economy. I hope we can reflect this month on what each of us can do to encourage employers to invest in the hiring, training, and promotion of people with disabilities and create an inclusive work culture.
