Website Developer for the SDI – Bridge Together: Connecting Service Providers and Refugees for Seamless Support Project

The Bridge Together: Connecting Service Providers and Refugees for Seamless Support project is an IRCC-funded SDI initiative focused on strengthening the collaboration between service providers and refugee sponsoring groups, with the goal to enhance knowledge-sharing and community coordination for refugees. The project also aims to share key resources and facilitate information-sharing, making it easier for participating groups to connect, collaborate, and share best practices.

From January to March 2026, CCS is seeking a Website Developer to lead the design and implementation of the Bridge Together project’s website, serving as an accessible digital platform to host/share resources and connect users.

The Website Developer will be responsible for:

  • Developing the website, collaborating closely with the project team to review and implement requested content, features, functions, and user experience requirements (requirements outlined below in the Proposal Submission Requirements section).
  • Creating wireframes/demonstration presentations for key project stakeholders.

Proposal Submission Requirements

The Website Developer must demonstrate:

  • Experience in delivering user-friendly and accessible websites that contain…
    • A resources page, allowing users to easily access and share resources (e.g., links to other websites, publications, videos).
    • Admin user accounts, allowing designated users to update or remove content, as needed.
    • Interactivity features, where users can connect with each other to support discussions and knowledge-sharing.
    • Interactive directories or maps, where users can filter information based on their geographic location or service need.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse, non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of newcomer and refugee online resources and websites is an asset.
  • Experience developing websites for non-profit and/or newcomer serving organizations is an asset.

The proposal must include:

  • Letter of Introduction outlining relevant work experiences and projects.
  • Samples of prior websites developed with descriptions/context outlined.
  • Brief work plan and deliverables, including a detailed budget breakdown for January – March 2026

(maximum budget range of $20,000.00 – $21,000.00).
