INVITATION: Film Screening to celebrate the World Mental Health Day. 

DATE: October 10, 2024 at 6 P.M.- 8 P.M.

VENUE: Cineplex Cinemas, Fairview Mall, North York. 

MEHAR is a nonprofit organization committed to spreading awareness around mental and emotional health through art. We aim to create artistic projects such as short films and theatre productions to utilize the transformative power of art to build an informed and supportive community for people living with the challenges of mental illness and addictions. We have organized several events of screening our films to facilitate learning and understanding mental health in a very engaging and unique format. 

We have created several short films to educate our audience on the complex mental health conditions. On October 10th, MEHAR will screen 3 short films and present a special speaker to relay a message of hope and recovery. We will screen short films on Anxiety Disorders, Addictions and Bipolar Disorder. We will also organize Q&A session. 

There is no cost to attend the event but donations are most welcome.
