The Settlement and Integration Policy and Program Committee, a team of sector representatives, is working closely with IRCC to ensure we have access to the resources and supports needed to use technology effectively in our sector. The goal is to create pathways that enable digitalization to complement, rather than replace, in-person service delivery — ensuring we continue to provide the right service to the right client at the right time.
We invite you to participate in a national survey on digital capacity, challenges, and emerging practices in online and hybrid service delivery across IRCC-funded organizations. The survey is available here. Led by the Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Working Group (DPC) and the Technology Working Group (TWG), this initiative aims to identify sector challenges, pressure points, and capacity gaps. The insights will help to develop tools, training, and resources that meet sector needs.
Participation is completely anonymous, and the results will inform practical recommendations for the Settlement and Integration Service Delivery Committee (SISDC) and the Settlement and Integration Policy and Program Committee (SIPPC).
Your insights are important, and now is the perfect time to share them. By reflecting on your experience, you will help shape the future of digital service delivery for newcomers and ensure we have the support necessary to do this efficiently.
Please take the 20-minute survey:
• Sections A - D: Usually completed by the Contribution Agreement (CA) holder, such as the Executive Director or CEO. Please complete these sections on your own. If you're unsure, select “I don’t know” to highlight areas needing more clarity across the sector.
• Sections E - H: These may require input from those directly involved in digital services, like Program Managers, Digital Services Coordinators, Executive Directors, or IT Leads.
