As support for migrants and refugees has been backsliding in Canada, the “We’re Better Together” campaign was created to improve public opinion and build momentum for an inclusive immigration system. A critical part of that effort is developing skills and practice around strategic messaging and “narrative framing.” This training aims to help you with just that.

What you can expect:

  • Gain a practical understanding of the Message Guide
  • How to shape compelling key messages to support advocacy for migrant workers’ rights
  • How to effectively apply the Race Glass Gender Narrative into your work
  • Commonly used phrases to avoid
  • Opportunity to connect with others in your sector and ask specific questions
