BHF Newcomer Women In Construction

Are you an Internationally Educated Professional Woman with a background in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Project management, or other technical fields? This is your opportunity to be a part of BuildHER Future (BHF). It is a FREE skills and career development program designed to support your transition and growth into Ontario’s Construction Sector.

BuildHER Future aims to:

  • Equip internationally educated professional women (IEPW) with the industry-specific training, resources, and individualized support required to successfully transition into Ontario’s construction sector
  • Bridge skills and knowledge gaps through targeted training in key areas, including Health and Safety, Sustainable Building Practices, Construction Project Coordination, and Construction Project Management
  • Support participants’ labour market integration, credential recognition pathways, and long-term career advancement within the construction industry.

What Participants Receive 

Participants benefit from sector-specific technical training, leadership development, mentorship opportunities, and direct connections to paid work placements. The program is designed to prepare participants for high-demand roles within Ontario’s construction industry while supporting their long-term career growth and economic mobility.
