For Clients: Free-Workforce Pathways For Women In Senior Healthcare

Are you a woman currently without work or working in a temporary job with a desire to work in the senior healthcare sector? Workforce Pathways for Women in Senior Healthcare is a FREE 4-week employment program that can help you get a job in the senior healthcare sector. 

Program Highlights: 

• 4 weeks of online skills training, including ORCA training and Food Handler Certificate 
• Coaching to facilitate the transition to direct employment with dedicated employer partners 
• Job onboarding support to ensure the success of long-term employment 

Eligibility: 

•  Women (including immigrants and racialized women) 
• Resident of Ontario 
• Entitled to work in Canada 
• Have the desire to work in the senior care sector

This program is funded by the Ontario Government’s Skills Development Fund, in partnership with the Ontario Retirement Communities Association and Ontario Long-Term Care Association.
