We invite evaluation experts to apply for a crucial national assignment.
Grassroots organizations across Canada are doing powerful, community-led work to address pressing social issues, deliver services to underserved communities, and foster inclusion, including welcoming, settling, and integrating newcomers. Yet, too often, their impact is overlooked and underfunded. The Equity Stream Fund is changing that, and we need an evaluator who can help us tell this story.
For the first time, four regions, BC-Yukon, Prairies & Northwest Territories, Ontario, and the Atlantic, are joining forces to launch one unified RFP for a national equity-informed evaluation opportunity.
The purpose of this RFP is to hire an Evaluator to conduct an independent, objective, and context-appropriate evaluation of the Equity Stream Fund
programs. The Evaluator will work nationally, and with each of the four regions identified, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated evaluation approach that respects regional contexts.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Capture impact nationally and regionally
Work alongside communities in a participatory way
Provide real-time learning to strengthen the work
Tell the story of change with both data and lived experience
This evaluation will help us understand:
How grassroots organizations are growing their capacity and impact
How funding processes can be made more equitable and responsive to the realities, priorities, and strengths of grassroots organizations led by equity-seeking individuals.
How collaboration and partnerships strengthen Immigration services
Alignment with commitments to Anti-Racism, Gender Equality, GBA Plus, Truth and Reconciliation and Francophone Integration.
We require a detailed proposal with a cost estimate and projected timelines for the program that includes the stated deliverables outlined in the Request for Proposal.
