The NNCTR is pleased to announce a one-time incentive of $1,000 to support current or upcoming initiatives that foster Indigenous-Newcomer relationships. This includes the development of resources, trainings, events, workshops etc. Please note there is one incentive PER REGION, therefore while we encourage everyone to apply, only 1 event per region will receive the funding. We encourage agencies/organizations to work in collaboration to maximize the incentive.
Eligible organizations must be members of the NNCTR (or willing to join) : https://www.nnctr.ca/join .The funds should be directed toward compensation for Indigenous Peoples (e.g. Elder, knowledge keeper) and/or initiatives that directly benefit Indigenous communities
All funded events must take place on or before March 31, 2026. Invoices should be submitted as soon as possible (preferably prior to the event, more details will be provided to those selected)
