OCASI Professional Education and Training Project (PET) provides financial support to frontline settlement service providers to assist with organizational capacity building.

Under the PET project, assistance is available to frontline staff working in organizations funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), to enhance their skills and gain knowledge through individual courses.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Staff whose positions are funded by IRCC. If eligible, you can apply for funds to take courses (including online courses), at any institution of your choice, and will be reimbursed up to $1000 for course/s plus any taxes incurred.

PLEASE NOTE: An employment letter is required and must demonstrate a direct connection between the competencies and the course required to do the job effectively.
