
Please save the date for CCMW’s National employment conference, “I Belong, You Belong,” to be held in Toronto on November 6 & 7, 2025.
The Conference in partnership with the Diversity Institute, is part of CCMW's ASPIRE Project (Addressing Barriers to Employment for Muslim Women) funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada aimed at fostering equitable and inclusive work environments for Canadian Muslim women.
The event is a unique learning and sharing experience for Canadian employers, Muslim & racialized women, community-based researchers, employment activists, community/settlement workers and policy makers. It includes plenary sessions, concurrent workshops, panel discussions, skills-building and networking opportunities.
The ASPIRE Conference is a national event designed to break barriers and foster belonging in the workplace for Muslim and racialized women in Canada. CCMW will launch toolkits and interactive workshops based on recommendations from its national employment study (ASPIRE).
Hosted by CCMW and the Diversity Institute, this unique gathering brings together employers, community leaders, researchers, policymakers, and job seekers to explore inclusive employment practices and shape a future of equity and empowerment.
