The Collaborative Network to End Exploitation invites community members, organizations, advocates and others to participate in a migrant workers solidarity evening event.

Across Canada, migrant workers perform essential jobs and contribute socially and economically to our communities. Yet many are denied fundamental human rights.

This virtual event features:

  1. Launching a short animated video showing migrant workers' abuses in Canada produced by the CNEE.
  2. Discussing the findings in the new reportcalled Labour Exploitation in Ontario: Insights from Migrant Workers During the COVID-19 Pandemic(working title).
  3. Discussing theCampaign for Open Work Permits Nowwhich demands that the Canadian government abolish employer-specific work permits. More at www.openworknow.ca
