This webinar is for service providers, community members, educators and others. It will highlight the importance of upholding community health through collective active citizenship. Join us in conversation with the Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC) to discuss the important work being done by their International Agricultural Worker Health Program.

Carly Watson, the International Agricultural Worker Health Program manager, and Eliseo Martell, a health promoter and educator, will discuss the workings of the clinics that are offered by GRCHC to migrant agricultural workers.

The program's team consists of primary health care providers, health promoters, community health workers, medical secretaries and translators.  Medical work includes diagnostics, injury assessment, wound care and disease prevention.  Health promoters assist with healthy eating, physical activity and injury and chronic disease prevention.

Join us on SettleNet.org for discussions about civic engagement and 'Active Citizenship', events, resources and more!
