Refugee Dental Care Ads

Summary

Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is making the public aware of ads that are appearing to promote free dental care for refugee clients.

Complaints are being received involving flyers with a QR code that directs you to a webpage requesting sensitive personal information, including UCI numbers. These flyers also feature a distorted Government of Canada logo. Do not provide your personal information in online forms. You should only give your information directly to staff at a dental or other health care provider's office.

IRCC and the Government of Canada do not offer dental services directly to the public. They do fund different programs that allow eligible people to access dental care.
