Founded in 1998, Fort York Food Bank (FYFB) is a charitable organization that directly assists families and individuals who live in downtown Toronto. We are a multi-service agency focused on reconnecting people within our community. We deliver an integrated set of services to assist our clients in a holistic manner and to bring community members together. In 2023, FYFB helped over 4,600 clients per week. Since our inception in 1998, FYFB has emphasized fiscal discipline, responsibility and accountability to our stakeholders. We have been continuously named one of Canada’s top performing charities by Charity Intelligence Canada. 96% of financial donations to FYFB are directed to program delivery.
