The Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Settlement Strategy Project has developed a comprehensive GBV Policy template for organizations serving immigrants, responding to a critical gap identified by sector leaders. This workshop invites participants to explore how this adaptable policy can strengthen responses to GBV affecting immigrant and refugee clients across Canada.
Participants will share experiences, discuss capacity-building strategies, and leave with concrete ideas for empowering safer, more supportive, and non-judgemental environments in their own organizations.

The Gender-Based Violence Settlement Strategy Project is a national collaborative partnership between the anti-violence and settlement sectors to address GBV for newcomers, immigrants and refugees.
