Now in its fifth year, MTM Newcomers is the only national survey that explores how newcomers to Canada use media and technology in their everyday lives.
As many settlement services are being cut back, the media landscape grows more complex by the day and rampant misinformation makes integration more challenging. It’s essential to have credible and trustworthy data to make informed decisions.
Anyone working with or serving newcomers – from policy makers and decision makers to service providers and academics – needs up-to-date information on how to reach them, design inclusive services and connect people to the resources they need to thrive.
Share this survey with newcomers in your networks to help ensure that their voices and experiences are accurately reflected.
About the survey:
- Open to newcomers who arrived in Canada in the last 5 years
- Available in 12 languages
- Takes about 10 minutes to complete
- Respondents receive a $10 prepaid digital gift card
- A valid Canadian phone number and address are required
- Survey link is emailed 1–2 business days after registration
To say thank you, MTM Newcomers and Refugee 613 have put together a series of resources and events over the coming months to help settlement professionals:
