Grant Streams
1) Mentorship and Leadership Grant
The Kiwanis Club of Toronto has chosen to focus on supporting mentorship and leadership opportunities of children and youth in Toronto with grants up to $10,000 each.
This grant will support initiatives that inspire children and youth to become leaders in their communities. Funding will contribute towards programs that encourage the development of transferable leadership skills, such as decision-making, teamwork, goal setting, time management and community involvement, to name a few.
2) Arts and Culture Grant
The Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation is excited to again offer this granting initiative, first introduced in 2022, to support organizations that provide programming for children and youth with a focus on the arts.
Grants of up to $10,000 each will support initiatives that facilitate the creation of art as a tool for the development of young minds, and/or coping and supporting mental health by children and youth in Toronto. These grants will fund programs that encourage young people to express themselves through creative endeavours.
Community Impact Award
All grant applicants also have the opportunity to apply for the Community Impact Award (CIA) — up to $40,000 in additional funding!
