About the Resource List
This resource list was developed as a practical response to recent IRCC funding changes affecting CUAET visa holders who are no longer eligible for LINC classes and the increasing language support needs identified in the community.
This resource provides a curated list of informal language learning programs—such as English Conversation Circle—offered by settlement agencies, Toronto Public Library branches, and faith-based organizations in Toronto or beyond. It is designed as a practical tool for service providers, newcomers, and community members to help support and strengthen English language skills in accessible and welcoming environments.
