This is a full-time non-union position scheduled to work 35 hours per week

 

DUTIES

 

  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Autopilot, and OneDrive for Business. Managing user identities across cloud and on-premises environments, license management, and service configuration. Develop governance plans for Microsoft 365. Provide eDiscovery services as required.
  • Security Administration: Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security features and best practices, including managing security policies, compliance, and eDiscovery services. Configuring permissions, data loss prevention policies, threat detection, and audit logs. Ensure the overall security of the Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • PowerShell Scripting: Ability to create and execute PowerShell scripts for automating tasks and managing the Microsoft 365 environment. This skill is essential.
  • Endpoint Management: Experience with Intune and for managing endpoints, objects, collections, deployments, and software updates. Ensuring all endpoints are configured with the latest security patches and updates.
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Power Apps and Power BI to support development teams and enhance collaboration within the organization.
  • Change Management: Utilizing the Change Management process to apply changes and upgrades to the Microsoft 365 environment. Planning, testing, and implementing changes in a controlled manner.
  • Customer Service: Establishing and managing client expectations while maintaining a positive, proactive, and professional demeanor. Providing support and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices. This may involve obtaining relevant certifications.
  • Documentation: Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base, including end-user guides, diagrams, and tech spec sheets, as required. Support training efforts for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and others in the Microsoft 365 stack, and occasionally, to other related topics (e.g., security awareness, governance) and technologies.
  • Continuous improvement: Serve as the go-to Subject Matter Expert representing Microsoft 365, providing recommendations and solutions to facilitate decision-making. Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Entra cloud computing, Microsoft 365, and related technologies, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and optimizations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and or combination of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience of Microsoft 365 environments governance and management; Hands-on experience with Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Expert-level knowledge of all Microsoft 365 workloads - SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Planner, Power Apps and BI, OneDrive, Streams and Microsoft enterprise desktop applications.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and applications.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration tasks.
  • Experience with security and compliance features, and configuration and maintenance of policies in Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy laws and best practices.
  • Knowledge of principles of computing, communications, networks, hardware, software including operating systems.
  • Strong skill in analyzing and solving complex computing problems.
  • One of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Exam MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator

SALARY RANGE:                             $74,267 to $85, 387 per annum plus benefits
