Wage: $32.00/hour for 40 hours/week

Scope

The Partnership and Programs Development Coordinator is responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing partnerships and programs that advance the mission and goals of our organization. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to design, implement, and evaluate programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and community needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities with organizations, corporations, foundations, and community groups
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective partners
  • Negotiate and draft partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with organizational goals
  • Design and implement projects that align with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify community needs and opportunities for program development
  • Facilitate regular communication and meetings with partners to ensure ongoing collaboration and program success
  • Represent the organization at external events, conferences, and meetings
  • Identify and secure funding opportunities to support program initiatives
  • Prepare grant proposals, reports, and other documentation as required by funders and stakeholders
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and operations to ensure cohesive program delivery
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Complete administrative procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • University degree in Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, Social Work, Management, Psychology, Adult Education, or Counselling, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in partnership development, project management, or a related role
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing partnerships
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and work collaboratively
  • Experience with grant writing and fundraising is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management software
  • Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to community development
  • Knowledge of settlement and resettlement programs is an asset

Other requirements

  • A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check (completed when an offer is made)
